🚨 TEAM NEWS: Sporting CP vs Manchester City

Manchester City travel to José Alvalade to take on Sporting CP in the Champions League round-of-16 first-leg clash. 

Pep Guardiola has been unable to deliver the jewel in the crown of European football in Manchester and takes his side to the tie as favourites. The visitors have made five changes to the squad that beat Norwich City 4-0 over the weekend. 

Defenders John Stones, Aymeric Laporte and Joao Cancelo are back in the starting XI after missing out against Norwich on Saturday, with suspended Kyle Walker, Nathan Ake and Oleksandr Zinchenko dropping out.

Rodrigo and Kevin De Bruyne come back into the midfield in place of Fernandinho and Ilkay Gundogan.

Sporting CP XI: Adan, Esgaio, Coates, Inacio, Porro, Reis, Palhinha, Matheus, Goncalves, Sarabia, Paulinho.
