Dozens of Nigerians have returned to their home country from Libya.
The 175 returnees were said to be stranded in Libya.
According to Nigerian officials, the returnees were voluntarily repatriated by the International Organization for Migration (IMO).
Among the returnees are 12 children and 11 newborns, officials say.
African Entertainment understands that over 1,300 Nigerians have returned on humanitarian flights from Libya in 2022 alone.
The returnees were largely hoping to make it to Europe in search of greener pastures but ended up getting stuck in Libya.
