Sheffield United remain top of the Championship following a sombre midweek round as football paid tribute to The Queen.

Down in the relegation zone, Coventry City remain rock-bottom despite twice fighting back through Viktor Gyokeres and Gustavo Hamer to cancel out Carlton Morris’ brace in a 2-2 draw at Luton.
Huddersfield again sit second-bottom after losing 2-1 at home to Wigan as Callum Lang struck a 82nd minute winner for the Latics, which ultimately forced the Terriers to sack Danny Schofield following a disastrous start to the season.
Quick-fire second-half goals from Duncan Watmore and Rodrigo Muniz couldn’t stop Middlesbrough suffering a 3-2 home defeat to Cardiff, which left Chris Wilder’s Boro sat above the bottom three on goal difference.
Elsewhere, Scott Hogan’s hat-trick fired Birmingham City to a 3-2 win at West-Midlands rivals, West Bromwich Albion which is their first away win over the Baggies at The Hawthorns since August 2005.
Ilias Chair provided assists for Chris Willock and Stefan Johansen as QPR defeated Millwall 2-0 away at The Den in a cross-London derby.
Lewis Baker’s brace plus Ben Wilmot’s header saw Stoke thrash Hull 3-0 away at the MKM Stadium in a mid-table clash.
Finally, goals from Chiedozie Ogbene, Wes Harding and Georgie Kelly saw Rotherham thrash Blackpool 3-0 at home.
