MEXICO – Hurricane Roslyn (Category 4) made landfall near Santa Cruz, Mexico (located on the Pacific Coast between Mazatlán to the north and Puerto Vallarta to the south. The storm is expected to quickly dissipate over east-central Mexico. Heavy rains and flooding are expected. (NHC)
ISRAEL – WEST BANK – GAZA – The Department of State issued an updated travel advisory for Israel (Level 2 – Exercise Increased Caution), the West Bank (Level 2 – Exercise Increased Caution) and Gaza (Level 4 – Do Not Travel), in which they separate out the three areas, each with their own threat level assignment.
