The production and sale were not according to the laws
The confiscation of 40,000 liters of wine and a certain amount of brandy from a household in the Kosovo village of Velika Hocha took place dramatically. The reason was that the alcohol was produced and sold in violation of the laws, and therefore the authorities organized an action to confiscate it.
From early in the morning, customs officers and police officers persuaded Sarjan Petrovic and his family members, as well as the residents of the village.
The owner of the building, Sarjan Petrovic, had tied himself to a pole in protest, and his son Milan had climbed onto the roof and threatened to jump. The footage also shows Milan’s mother crying and asking him not to jump.
Despite the harsh words and some unpleasant scenes, in the end, the Kosovo authorities confiscated the disputed goods, avoiding more trouble.
The situation in the village has calmed down, people have returned to their homes.
Previously, Sarjan Petrovic told Radio “Gorazdevac” that they put up all kinds of resistance, but to no avail, and he and his fellow villagers clearly saw the message “get out of here.”
Kosovo customs said the confiscation was made because the production and sale of the wine and brandy was not carried out according to Kosovo law, Serbian media reported.
