Italian Serie A picks for Verona vs. Juventus
Before tuning into Sunday’s match, you need to see the Juventus vs. Verona picks from European soccer insider Martin Green. After working in the sports betting industry for several years, Green became a professional sports writer and handicapper and has covered the game worldwide. Since then, his European soccer picks have been spot-on. Green has generated over $37,000 for $100 bettors since the 2017-18 season, and he has his finger on the pulse of the game all over the globe.
For Juventus vs. Verona, Green is picking Juventus to secure the victory. Juventus has won 33 of 61 all-time matches between the clubs, but Juve hasn’t won against Verona since 2019. Although Verona has won its last two games, the Yellow and Blues only took one win in the five prior fixtures. At the very least this season, Juventus would like to take a straight bid into next year’s UEFA Champions League, but Massimiliano Allegri’s side needs to finish in the top four of the final Serie A standings to do so.
As it stands, Juventus is in fifth place and just two points behind Atalanta, but it has played one more match than the fourth-place club. Allegri must choose how aggressive to be in attack, but taking a win is clearly the top priority. Paulo Dybala scored three goals in four matches ahead of Juventus’ draw against Milan. Meanwhile, forward Alvaro Morata found the goal for the first time in six matches against Sampdoria.
“Juventus midfielder Manuel Locatelli is suspended, while Federico Chiesa – another superstar signing from Fiorentina – is injured, and Alex Sandro and Federico Bernardeschi may miss out with COVID-19,” Green told SportsLine. “However, Juventus has a stronger and deeper squad than Verona. It should be galvanized by [Dusan] Vlahović’s arrival, and it should win this game.”
