Cagliari has won just once in its last 23 matches against Napoli, but it will take another swing at the top Italian Serie A club on Monday at 1 p.m. ET. The Islanders find themselves in the relegation zone heading into the contest, but are just one point behind Venezia, which came away with a tie in its match against Genoa on Sunday. Napoli still has its sights set on challenging for the Serie A title. You can see what happens when you stream the game live on Paramount+.
Kickoff from Sardegna Arena in Sardinia, Italy, is set for 1 p.m. ET. Napoli is the -185 favorite (risk $185 to win $100) on the 90-minute money line in the latest Napoli vs. Cagliari odds from Caesars Sportsbook, with Cagliari as the +550 underdog. A draw is priced at +305 and the over-under for total goals scored is 2.5. Monday’s match will be streamed live on Paramount+ with their must-have Premium plan.

Italian Serie A picks for Napoli vs. Cagliari
Before tuning into Monday’s match, you need to see the Napoli vs. Cagliari picks from European soccer insider Jon Eimer. Eimer is a high-volume bettor who has vast knowledge of leagues and players across the globe. Since joining SportsLine, Eimer has covered the English Premier League, Serie A, the FA Cup and much more. The Indiana-based handicapper compiled a winning record of 260-133-1 with over 90 units of profit for his community on various platforms over a recent two-month stretch.
For Cagliari vs. Napoli, Eimer is picking Napoli on the first half money line at +100 odds. Over its last five matches, Cagliari has failed to score in the first half or lost altogether in clean sheet fashion. Conversely, Napoli has taken a quick lead in four of its last five fixtures. In the previous match between the two sides in September, forward Victor Osimhen opened the scoring with a goal in the 11th minute. Lorenzo Insigne went on to score on a penalty kick in the second half and Napoli took the decisive 2-0 win.
Recent matches against Inter Milan and Barcelona are not reasonable comparisons for the level of competition Napoli can expect to face when it plays Cagliari. Osimhen was held out of goal in those two games and should try to get one into the back of the net after his most recent score came late in a February 6 victory over Venezia. Although Cagliari has shown signs that it can battle its way out of relegation territory, it hasn’t been because of stellar play along the backline, where Napoli should be able to take advantage.
“For a team that was in the relegation zone, Cagliari has been really impressive in fighting for draws and pulling out wins in the new year,” Eimer told SportsLine. “As much as I love rooting for the underdog, I can’t in good conscience take anything but Cagliari to concede in this matchup. Cagliari has failed to keep a clean sheet in its last 12 matches across all competitions.”
