The first complete day of 2022 NCAA Tournament action has arrived, and with it comes a schedule featuring 16 games spanning nearly 12 hours. It is one of the best days of the year not just in college basketball but sports as a whole.
With it comes the potential for big upsets. That will be the case at 12:40 p.m. ET when (13) South Dakota State takes on (4) Providence in Midwest Region action. The Jackrabbits are just two-point underdogs and among a number of potential Cinderellas who could emerge across the next four days. We’ll also get a look at some of the top contenders for the national title on Thursday with three No. 1 seeds — defending national champion Baylor, top overall seed Gonzaga and Kansas — beginning their March Madness journeys.
