South Australia’s Chief Health Officer has been mobbed by anti-vaccine mandate protesters and has required police to escort her to her vehicle outside court in Adelaide.
Professor Nicola Spurrier was initially required in court for a legal challenge from two nurses who wanted to overturn mandates for health workers.
After the judge ruled she was not required to give evidence, Professor Spurrier left the court where she was met by angry protesters.
Premier Peter Malinauskas expressed his disappointment with the behaviour.
