Two of the three best teams in the Eastern Conference square off tonight in the weekend’s marquee game as the Bucks host the Sixers. Philly sits just a handful of games behind Milwaukee and Boston in the East, so this game could prove critical for playoff seeding.

76ers vs Bucks Bold Predictions
These teams split a pair of games in Philadelphia so far this season, so this will be the Sixers’ first time taking on the Bucks in Milwaukee. Joel Embiid has a double-double in four straight matchups with the Bucks, and he’s just one player I’m expecting a big night from.
Joel Embiid To Get a 30+ Point Double-Double
Embiid is dominating in his usual fashion this year, averaging a double-double while securing one in 12 of his last 16 games. The Bucks are an excellent defensive team, especially on the interior, but Embiid is able to overwhelm Brook Lopez with his physicality and versatility.
In his last 11 contests against Milwaukee, Embiid has 10 double-doubles. Don’t let the Bucks’ defense scare you – feel confident backing Embiid to have a huge night across the board.
James Harden Lights it Up From Deep
I’m taking the over on Harden’s made three-pointers prop, as I think this matchup suits his game nicely. He’s made at least three 3-pointers in four of his last seven games against the Bucks, with at least seven 3-point attempts in all but one of those contests.
In Harden’s last five games, he’s got 20 made three-pointers. Given the Bucks’ NBA-leading interior defense, I think Harden will look to beat Milwaukee from beyond the arc. I’ll happily take any prop over 3.5 made three-pointers but will look for plus odds at over 4.5 threes, too.
Giannis Struggles Offensively
In those two games against the Sixers this season, Giannis scored 25 and 21 points. Philly ranks eighth in defensive rating (111.9) this season, and it’s clear that Embiid’s presence inside makes life tough on Giannis.
Still getting back into a groove following his wrist injury, Giannis only played 28 minutes in each of his previous two games. Against a quality, physical defense, Giannis may not be on the floor enough to hit his points prop. With Embiid lurking inside, it’s certainly a bet I’m willing to make.
