Greek male player Stefanos Tsitsipas and Spanish female player Paula Badosa are officially an item.
According to The South African website’s Dave Marshall, Badosa touched on how the seeds of a potential romance started to sprout during this year’s Australian Open, before anything had actually happened between them.
“I was injured in Australia. I watched his match, the final. Of course I had jet lag because I was in Spain. I decided to watch that match.
“Surprising, because I never dream about tennis players, but I dreamt about him that night, that we were both winning the Australian Open.
“Then it was like we were having a very romantic moment, but I’m not going to explain. I’m just going to leave it there,” she laughed.

Badosa is very appreciative having Tsitsipas in her corner, especially after re-injuring her back during her second round match in which she was forced to retire against Marta Kostyuk with the score at 6-2, 1-0.
“As you know, we have a very good relationship. Yeah, I think we support each other and we give each other strength.
“Yeah, we’re there for each other, so it’s nice to have him. But not only in this tournament. It’s nice to have him in general.”
Stefanos Tsitsipas into Round 4 at Wimbledon
Tsitsipas described how their relationship began.
“It started in Rome with a message from me when she beat Ons Jabeur in the second round.
“I watched the match, and I really liked the way she played and handled the situation against a very good clay player.
“I sent her congratulations, and the whole story started like that.”
Tsitsipas’s next opponent in the fourth round is American Christopher Eubanks.

Meanwhile, Australia’s Alex de Minaur is now dating Great Britain’s Katie Boulter.
Boulter is enjoying her time with De Minaur both on and off the court (they are through to the second round of mixed doubles after beating the all-Australian pairing of John Peers and Storm Hunter 6-2, 6-4 in the first round).
“It’s a totally different vibe going on the court with him. I think we bring the best out of each other, in terms of tennis, on and off the court.
“I think we’re going to have a couple of smiles on our faces, enjoying ourselves.
“I think having him with me will keep me very calm and hopefully we can play some really good doubles.”

When De Minaur was asked about his relationship with Boulter, he chose to focus more on the tennis side of things.
“It’s something that, you know, since the moment I met her I knew she had it in her. I’ve always thought she’s such a high-quality player, and it’s been amazing and great to see how she’s developed.
“She’s got that self-belief and what she’s been able to accomplish.
“I mean, the way she’s been handling the spotlight, the pressures, it’s been pretty astounding to me.
“You know, now it’s probably my turn to start learning from her.”
De Minaur lost his second round singles match against Italy’s Matteo Berrettini 6-3, 6-4, 6-4.
Boulter is scheduled to next play defending Wimbledon champion Elena Rybakina from Kazakhstan on Centre Court on Saturday evening.
