The family of Baby Muiruri is mourning his sudden death barely two weeks after he returned to the country from a heart surgery he underwent in India.
The news of his demise was first broken by media personality Muthee Kiengei who had taken part in a funds drive that raised Ksh2 million to cater for the child’s treatment abroad.
He noted that Baby Muiruri developed complications on the night of Sunday, July 3, at around 9:00 p.m. when he began crying non-stop as his his pulse shot up.
He was rushed to Gatundu Hospital where he received treatment but was then referred to Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH).
