Kid Cudi cut his set short at Rolling Loud Miami on Friday night, after getting hit in the face with what is believed to be a water bottle. The performer, a last-minute replacement for Kanye West at the hip-hop festival, stopped the show to speak to the crowd and give them one last chance.
As reported by Billboard, the actor and rapper said “Yo, I will walk off this stage if you all throw one more fucking thing up here, I will leave, I will leave right now.” Addressing the trash-hurlers, he continued, “throw one more fucking thing on this stage, and I’ll walk off, I’m not fucking playing. I’m not fucking playing, you will ruin it for everybody. I’ll fucking leave If I get hit with one more fucking thing, if I see one more fucking thing on this fucking stage, I’m leaving. Don’t fuck with me.”
Well, wouldn’t you know it, as soon as he was done speaking, another bottle ended up on the stage.
Never say Kid Cudi isn’t a man of his word. He stayed true to his promise and split. Here’s the moment where he had enough.

As it happens, Kanye West, the previously announced headliner, made an appearance at the secondary stage with Lil Durk, just as this incident was going on. (What timing!) West, who goes simply by Ye now, performed “Father Stretch My Hands, Pt. 1” from his 2016 Life of Pablo album.

The appearance was surprising since Kanye canceled his headlining appearance just two weeks prior. Perhaps he was inspired to show up after all when Kid Cudi was called in as a replacement. The two rappers, once great allies, have been engaged in a notorious beef.
In February, Kanye lobbed a series of Instagram diss bombs Kid Cudi’s way, sparked in part over the younger rapper’s friendship with Pete Davidson, who had just gone public with his romance with West’s ex-wife, Kim Kardashian.
