Swedish top flight side IF Goteborg have unveiled Saidu Salisu who joins on loan from Nigerian Second Club Kano Pillars Fc.
IF Goteborg are placed 7th on the Swedish Allevaskan after 15 matches of the first stanza. Salisu could make his make his debut on August 1 , 2022 when Goteborg host Norrköpping in the first game of the second stanza of the season.
Saidu Salisu will team up with compatriot Suleiman Abdullahi in attack for IF Goteborg as he attempts to put away bitter memories of suffering relegation from the NPFL with his parent club Kabo Pillars Fc.
Saidu Salisu a winner of two Nigerian Professional Football League titles at Plateau United and Akwa United arrives at a Goteborg side hoping he gets the goals to convince the club to push for a permanent transfer at the end of the current Sweden Allevaskan season.
Saidu Salisu’s parent club Kano Pillars Fc will expectedly lose bulk of its senior players following relegation to the Nigerian second tier at the end of the just concluded NPFL season.
