Miles had previously denied in Parliament that he had sent a text message to fellow MP Ali King during a parliamentary sitting.
The text allegedly asked King to rise during the session and apologise for telling prospective Queensland Health employees to send their resumes directly to her.
Miles denied sending any message, and a right-to-information request also drew a blank.
But a photo obtained by 9News from another MP showed a screenshot of King’s phone with a message displayed on it from a “Steven”.
Sending a text message during Parliament breaks no rules.
“I answered as I always do, to the best of my recollection,” Miles told 9News in a statement.
“If my recollection was incorrect, then I will correct the record and apologise at the earliest opportunity, as is the appropriate parliamentary process.”
