Saweetie just put the Marvel Universe to shame with her latest Paris Fashion Week look, channeling a couture version of X-Men character Storm in a gravity-defying silver wig and dramatic bright blue eye shadow.
There’s a lot to discuss in this truly incredible look, which she wore to the Mugler show, so let’s take it from the top with that hair. I don’t like to use the word epic, but there’s really no other way to describe the combination of silvery-blue hair colour and sky-high height going on with this wig. The hair was teased and teased again for inches and inches of volume at the crown, with the length falling all the way to her lower back. In certain lights, it looked almost pastel blue, while in others it was a pure metallic silver shade, perfect for the one and only Icy Grl.
On her eyes, Saweetie wore layers of sapphire blue shadow all over the upper lid almost to her brow bone, with the same shade brushed below the lower lashline and into the inner corners. She wore not one but two sets of false lashes, with one pair applied in their traditional spot on the lashline and a second, much longer and fluffier peacock-blue pair glued just above her crease. Her brows were lightened to a strawberry blonde shade, and her lips were painted an ultra glossy shade of black.

Of course we can’t talk about Saweetie’s glam without mentioning her signature nails, and this chameleonic set mimicked both the glossy finish of her lips and the blue tones in her hair and makeup. In true Saweetie fashion, she wore extra, extra-long stiletto nails that shifted with the light, evolving from a deep shimmery blue to hunter green to ruby red. “Her name is Mugleetie,” Saweetie wrote of her alter ego, and I think Ms. Mugleetie needs her own comic series, stat.
