The programme is open to safari enthusiasts of six years and older without any time limitations. Your little ones willemerge as budding JabuJuniors Conservationists or earn their credentials from our esteemed JabuJuniors Ranger Academy.

The Young Rangers Programme offered for parents travelling with young kids provides a fun and educational “Kids on Safari” experience for children.
Through the program, children will learn how to use all their senses to fully appreciate the beauty of nature. By the end of the program, children will receive an Inyati Young Rangers certificate.
They will have acquired skills such as making tricky bird calls, understanding how plants use offensive smells to protect themselves, tracking and identifying spoor, and navigating using the night sky.
On your arrival at Fitzpatrick’s at Jock, our host or dedicated ranger will help your family plan activities based on your family structure, children’s ages, and prevailing weather conditions.
We provide free-of-charge child care during game drive hours and can arrange additional child care beyond these hours for an extra fee. Each child will be given a gift pack filled with small presents, the majority of which can be used during their stay.
For safety reasons, we limit the exploration of children aged 5 and below to drives within the Jock concession. However, children aged 6 and above are welcome to participate in regular game drives, for the full Kids on Safari experience.
If your family prefers to explore in a private vehicle, we can arrange one for your exclusive use, with a daily surcharge added to your bill.
