Friendships often emerge as the beating heart of characters, adding layers of depth, emotion, and harmony- or just some special humor. This year, friendships aren’t one of the main themes discussed in the series openly, but we’ve noticed some special bonds and hilarious dynamics between some characters who are friends. Here are four friendships we loved in Ramadan drama this year!
Shaimaa & Sahar – A3la Nesbet Moshahda:
Though Shaimaa had no one and struggled with her trust, there was one person who was always there for her through thick and thin, and it was Sahar. Even in the early stages of Shaimaa’s social media popularity, Sahar would support her and guide her toward what was beneficial and right.
Ahmed & Tarek – Kamel El Adad +1:
The ups and downs of life never stood between Ahmed and Tarek. Their friendship helped Ahmed land his marriage- which he now cherishes dearly. And their friendship also came through to support Tarek through his divorce and phases.
Laila & Enjy – Kamel El Adad +1:
Laila has always considered Enjy her second sister, and no matter what they did, both were there for each other. Laila has also helped Enjy during her toxic relationship and Enjy helped Laila be with Ahmed. They’re also business partners and are growing with each other.
Hussein & Essam – Massar Egbari:
You know that one friend whom you don’t speak to regularly but once you reach out to them it’s like you just saw each other yesterday? That’s how it is between Hussein and Essam. Though Essam might be putting his needs first and tends to be a little selfish, he’s very helpful to Hussein and has had his back during the hard times he’s gone through.
Which friendship is your favorite, and what others have you noticed in Ramadan series so far?
