Popular comedian Ayo Makun, famously known as Comedian AY, has tipped Sadio Mane’s Senegal to do well at Qatar’s 2022 FIFA World Cup.
AY said this during the first edition of CarBall as presenter Babajide Guerrero asked the entertainer a number of questions.
During the chat, Guerrero, in the interview, asked the comedian to name the African country he is rooting for when the Mundial kicks off in November, Soccernet.

Rooting for Africa, Comedian AY said:
“I’m still going to back my African side. You see what the Senegalese are doing right now (laughs), they’ll shock people o. They’ll do well. They remind me of what Abedi Pele did with Ghana. They’re going to remind me of what the Cameroonian legend, Roger Milla did.
“All of that are still going to come back to play because look at Real Madrid, 70% are black players. Look at the French side that won the World Cup, all eleven players except one or two are black players, which means we have it inside of us.
“What we lack is the technical know-how and by the time we bring in the right people to do the right thing and teach us what to do… because the talent is there. We are blessed with such talented human resources that can do and undo and I see all of that happening in the Senegalese side.”

Ghana prophet predicts Black Stars to reach World Cup final
Meanwhile, Sports Brief earlier reported that a Ghanaian prophet has revealed that former Hearts of Oak midfielder Benjamin Afutu is the player to lead the Black Stars to the final of the World Cup.
According to the pastor, Telvin Sowah Adjei, Afutu will also help Ghana win the Africa Cup of Nations for the first time in over four decades.
He made his prophecy public after posting it on his Facebook page, but Afutu is currently unattached.
