Moira Koster won a judo bronze medal in the women’s under-78kg event at the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games.
Moira Koster (nee de Villiers) and Sydnee Andrews both won bronze medals in judo at the Commonwealth Games on Wednesday.
Koster won bronze in the women’s judo under-78kg event at the Birmingham Commonwealth Games.
She successfully pinned down Ayuk Otay Arrey Sophina of Cameroon to complete an Ippon and take out her bronze medal bout.
Andrews then flipped Sarah Hawkes of Northern Ireland and held her down to complete an Ippon and claim her medal in the 78kg+ event.
Fellow Kiwi Kody Andrews was due to finish the evening’s action by fighting Marc Deschenes of Canada in the men’s 100kg+ event.
