PADUCAH — A record high temperature has been confirmed for Feb. 3 in Paducah and the surrounding area, Local 6 Meteorologist Mark Daniels reported Monday.
According to Daniels, temperatures reached 72 degrees in Paducah as of 2:55 p.m. Monday. Other recorded temperatures included 70 degrees in Mayfield, Murray, and Union City; 74 degrees in Madisonville; and 73 degrees in Hopkinsville.
