Planning a long walking route can be overwhelming especially if it’s your first Camino. We’ve walked every route of the Portuguese Camino more than once and have a lot of knowledge and experience.
We’ve had many people asking to help them with their planning or to do it for them. Finally we decided to offer the service. For now only for the Portuguese Camino because we know it very well and we live in Portugal.
Who are we?
We are Campbell and Alya creators of Stingy Nomads travel blog and YouTube channel. The first time we walked the Camino in 2018 it was the Portuguese route from Lisbon and we fell in love with it. A few days after arriving in Santiago we took a bus and started waking the Camino Primitivo. Since then we’ve spent every year walking different Camino routes.
Camino basically changed our lives. After spending months walking through Portugal (not only the Camino but other routes) we fell in love with the country and decided to move here. Our daughter was born in Portugal. We are very lucky to be able to walk any parts of the Portuguese Camino any time we want.

What do we offer?
- A 45-minutes face time call (WhatsApp or Zoom) during which you can ask us any questions about the Portuguese Camino and tell us how far you want to walk, where you want to stay, etc.
- A customized itinerary that meets your requirements.
- A list of places to stay for every stage of your itinerary. Note, we don’t book accommodation for you we just provide you with a list of suitable places to stay. You can book them yourself in advance or not to book anything ahead if you want to stay more flexible. Booking is simple and we will provide you with links or information required.
- E-mail support before and during your walk. Any additional questions or assistance can be address vie e-mail and we’ll try to answer them as quick as possible.
How much does it cost?
The package that includes all the above costs US$300 or its equivalent in a different currency.
We can only assist 10 clients per month, to make sure you get the best personalized assistance. The service is provided directly by us (Campbell and Alya from Stingy Nomads).

The pretty half of Stingy Nomads, responsible for all our land adventures (hiking, climbing, walking the Camino) and following them write-ups. Alya loves walking since she was a child, she prefers to walk 1000 km with a backpack rather than to do a 10 000 km road trip (actually any road trip). Alya is a big fan of Latin America, the Spanish language, and dancing. Every time we go away she desperately misses our dog Chile.
