A Kingston, Ont. man faces multiple charges after a package containing a life-sized child sex doll was discovered at Hamilton airport.

A 57-year-old Kingston, Ont. man has been charged after Canada Border Services Agency officers intercepted child sexual abuse material, including a life-sized child sex doll, at Hamilton International Airport on Feb. 3, the government said.

A parcel from China containing a life-sized doll categorized as child sexual abuse and exploitation material was recovered by CBSA in late January. CBSA notified Kingston Police’s Internet Child Exploitation unit to further investigate.

Suspect caught in Kingston
Kingston Police nabbed the suspect near Barnsley Cres. and Acadian Dr., where he was then taken to police headquarters and held for bail.
He was charged with possession of child sexual abuse and exploitation material,import child sexual abuse and exploitation material, andfail to comply with long-term supervision order as a result of previous child sexual offence convictions.
CBSA and Kingston Police say the investigation is ongoing and they may lay more charges. The CBSA says any information about suspicious cross-border should be reported online or at 1-888-502-9060.
Recent border bust
Border cops all over Southern Ontario have been busy too. Another Kingston man was charged as CBSA shattered an alleged ring to move millions in cocaine and meth across the border at various entry points across the province.

According to the CBSA, Operation Meridian was a targeted 60-day operation in Southern Ontario. Officials said the goal was to disrupt the import and export of illicit narcotics through commercial channels at ports of entry across Southern Ontario.
“We have had remarkable success in intercepting smuggling efforts of dangerous narcotics destined to cities throughout the country,” said Michael Prosia, Regional Director General, Southern Ontario Region, Canada Border Services Agency.
“This outstanding work helps keep Canadians safe by stopping harmful drugs from reaching our streets and communities. The success of Operation Meridian highlights the effectiveness of coordinated efforts between the CBSA and law enforcement partners.”
