Dresden: Tausende demonstrieren gegen rechtsextremen Aufmarsch in Dresden

In Dresden haben Tausende Menschen gegen einen Aufmarsch von Rechtsextremisten zum Jahrestag der Zerstörung
der Stadt im Zweiten Weltkrieg protestiert. Den 2.000 Rechtsextremen stellten sich schätzungsweise 3.000 Gegendemonstranten entgegen. An mehreren Stellen trafen die beiden Lager in Sicht- und Hörweite aufeinander, zu direkten Konfrontationen kam es aber nicht.

Bereits am Vormittag begann der Gegenprotest mit
drei Demonstrationszügen, die zur zentralen Kundgebung im Stadtzentrum
führten. Weitere Versammlungen bildeten sich entlang der Strecke des
rechtsextremen “Trauermarschs”, der am Nachmittag etwa anderthalb
Stunden durch die Innenstadt zog. Die rechte Abschlusskundgebung wurde
ebenfalls von lautstarkem Protest begleitet.

Gegendemonstranten versuchten vorab, die
Strecke mit Sitzblockaden zu blockieren. Dort kam es zu Gerangel mit der
Polizei. Bei der Räumung der Strecke verwendeten die Beamten laut
Polizeiangaben Pfefferspray. Demonstranten versuchten demnach mehrfach,
Sperren zu durchbrechen. Dabei seien Polizisten attackiert und verletzt
worden, hieß es. 

Es wurden Ermittlungsverfahren wegen Landfriedensbruch
in drei Fällen und wegen tätlichen Angriffs auf Polizeibeamte
eingeleitet. Innerhalb des rechtsextremen Aufmarschs stellte die Polizei in neun
Fällen Verstöße gegen das Versammlungsgesetz sowie gegen die von der
Stadt erlassene Allgemeinverfügung fest. Unter anderem hatten Teilnehmer
Pfefferspray bei sich. In einem weiteren Fall läuft ein
Ermittlungsverfahren wegen des Verwendens von Kennzeichen
verfassungswidriger Organisationen.

Luftangriffe in Dresden werden regelmäßig von Rechtsextremen instrumentalisiert

Dresden war am
13. Februar 1945 und in den Tagen danach bei Angriffen britischer und US-amerikanischer Bomber großflächig zerstört worden. Nach Zahlen
einer Historikerkommission wurden bis zu 25.000 Menschen getötet. Die
Luftangriffe werden regelmäßig von Rechtsextremen instrumentalisiert, um
die Kriegsschuld Deutschlands zu relativieren. 

Ohne rechtsextreme Symbolik hatten am Freitag Menschen bei verschiedenen Veranstaltungen der Opfer der Bombardierung gedacht. Unter anderem gab es eine Menschenkette rund um die historische Altstadt.
