Medeama SC not under pressure heading into new season â?? Yussif Mubarik

Medeama SC captain Yussif Mubarik has assured supporters that the team will be ready for the challenge that awaits them in the 2026/27 football season before the campaign commences.

According to him, although the Yellow and Mauves will be competing in three competitions, players are not under any pressure.

He insists that the squad is motivated and ready to give everything to challenge for all trophies.

“We are not under any pressure. We are a lot in the team, so we are ready to fight for every trophy. Outside Ghana, teams like Real Madrid sometimes compete for four or five trophies in a season. So for us, we are ready to go,” Yussif Mubarik told Medi TV.

Medeama SC head into the upcoming season as defending champions of the Ghana Premier League. The team will now aim to defend the title and attempt to add the MTN FA Cup trophy.

As Ghanaian champions, the team will also compete in the CAF Champions League.
