Police say two people have been stabbed during a fight and another was shot on Toronto streets in separate violent incidents Sunday afternoon.

Toronto Police said in a social media update that officers responded to a call for a stabbing shortly before 4:40 p.m. in Kensington Market near Augusta Ave. and College St.
Males seen fighting
According to information received by police, two males were seen fighting.
When officers arrived, one male was found stabbed and transported to hospital by paramedics.
A short time later, police said the other male was located who had also been stabbed and was rushed to hospital via an emergency run.
Cops said it is unknown the extent of the injuries both had suffered as the investigation is ongoing.

Shooting in Rexdale
Then, at around 5:10 p.m., police said in another social media update that they were notified of a shooting at a commercial plaza in Rexdale.
Police said officers responded to the area of Islington and Bergamot Aves. and found a male who had been shot.
The victim was transported to hospital via an emergency run by paramedics with unknown injuries.
Suspects fled area
According to police, the suspects fled the area before officers arrived and were described as Black males wearing hoodies and possibly ski masks.
Cops said more information about the shooting will be made available.
