The Magazine Publishers Association is celebrating the joy of magazines this October with the launch of Magazine Month.
Magazine Month will shine a spotlight on the publications, people and stories that inspire, inform and entertain us, says the MPA.
Running from October 1 to 31, the nationwide campaign gives readers another reason to pick up their favourite title or discover something new, with extensive point-of-sale promotion across supermarkets, retailers and subscription platforms. A $100 e-gift card will also be up for grabs every day of the month.
Keep Kiwis reading
MPA chair Stuart Dick says: “2.6 million kiwis are already avid magazine readers – and with Magazine Month we are inviting even more Kiwis to experience the benefits magazine readers already enjoy.
“Whether you’re looking for inspiration for your home, something delicious to cook, trusted journalism or simply a little entertainment, there’s a magazine for you.
“Studies also show that reading a magazine is a simple way to reduce stress, help us unwind, while stimulating the mind and introducing fresh ideas and different perspectives,” he adds.
To enter the giftcard giveaway, readers should visit the campaign website and complete the entry form using their magazine’s barcode. Subscriber customers should follow the instructions in their order confirmation email.
