New London — The Connecticut Foundation for Dental Outreach is holding a Connecticut Mission of Mercy Free Dental Clinic, with screening happening Friday for treatment on Saturday.
Patient registration and exams will begin Friday at 10 a.m. at St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Church, 200 Hempstead St. Medical/dental screening and X-rays will be provided, with appointments given for treatment in a private dental office on Saturday. Services include cleanings, exams, extractions, fillings and X-rays.
Patients will get the address to the dental office when they register. The clinic will provide treatment to 300 patients on a first-come first-served basis.

The Connecticut Foundation for Dental Outreach held the first Mission of Mercy clinic in 2008, in collaboration with the Connecticut State Dental Association, and the clinic is held in a different part of the state every year.
