A young family could be stranded in the outback for weeks after getting bogged in South Australia’s Simpson Desert.
Rescue crews have spotted their camper van but cannot get to them as the area is so remote and roads are flooded.
The family could be stuck for up to two weeks, relying on solar power, supply drops and their own stockpile.
Their only lifeline is a satellite phone which was delivered by air so they can call extended family.
