JobSeeker is ‘not meant to be a comfortable wage’

Former Liberal Senator Amanda Stoker says there’s “no reason” for Australians on JobSeeker to not get a job.

“JobSeeker is not meant to be a comfortable wage, it’s meant to be just enough to get you through till your next job,” she said.

“And in this climate, where you just cannot get enough workers, there’s no reason you shouldn’t be able to get a job.”
