Bayelsa Queens Thrash Ampem Darkoa To Qualify For C/League

Bayelsa Queens of Nigeria have booked their place at this year’s CAF women’s Champions League, after thrashing Ghana’s Ampem Darkoa Ladies 3-0 in the final of the WAFU Zone B qualifiers in Yamoussoukro, Côte d’Ivoire on Saturday, Completesports.com reports.

First half goals from Miracle Joseph, Falconets star Flourish Sabastine and Chinyere Igbomalu, saw Bayelsa Queens emerge champions and also qualification for this year’s CAF women’s Champions League in Morocco.

Joseph broke the deadlock in the 11th minute from the penalty spot before Sabastine added the second goal on 19 minutes.

And with three minutes left to play in the first half Igbomalu got the third goal to seal the win.

Bayelsa Queens are now the second Nigerian team to participate at the CAF women’s Champions League, after Rivers Angels featured at last year’s maiden edition in Egypt.

Seven teams featured in the 2022 WAFU Zone B qualifiers and were drawn in two groups.

Group A had Africa Sport of Côte d’Ivoire, Espoir FC of Benin Republic and Niger Republic’s AS Police.

And Group B had Bayelsa Queens, Ampem Darkoa of Ghana, USFA of Burkina Faso and Athleta FC of Togo.

Bayelsa Queens hammered Athleta 5-0 in their first group game before being held to a goalless draw by Ampem Darkoa.

In their final group game they defeated USFA 3-1 to finish second.

They thrashed Espoir 6-0 in the semi-finals before overcoming Ampem Darkoa in Saturday’s final.

Meanwhile, the seven teams who have qualified for the second edition of the CAF women’s Champions League are Bayelsa Queens, reigning champions Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa, Morocco’s AS FAR, Green Buffaloes of Zambia, Wadi Degla of Egypt, Liberia’s Determine Girls FC and Simba Queens of Tanzania.

The eight team will emerge from the Central African Football Federations (UNIFFAC) zone.

Clear examples do more than decorate an explanation: they show how an idea behaves under recognizable conditions. In education and software documentation alike, strong illustrations begin with a defined goal, then reveal the steps, assumptions, and result without unnecessary detail. A practical test example should state the input, expected output, and boundary condition, because these elements show whether a rule works beyond the simplest case. Including a contrasting case also helps readers distinguish a valid application from a tempting but incorrect one, while concise notes explain why the outcomes differ. When examples are updated with current data and checked against the underlying rule, they remain useful across classrooms, product guides, and professional training.
