It is official that Aaron Ramsey, the captain of Arsenal, will start his professional career at OGC Nice and rejoin with Arsene Wenger.
Ramsey won three FA Cups while playing for the Gunners for ten years under Wenger. He left the Emirates Stadium the following year, moving on to a disastrous stint at Serie A powerhouse Juventus. The Frenchman had just retired from managing.
The Welshman’s tenure in Turin was a complete failure because he was unable to cement his place in their starting lineup. Before Juventus decided to sever their relationship with him earlier this summer, he spent the second part of the previous campaign on loan at Rangers.
After becoming a free agent, Ramsey’s return to the Premier League with Nottingham Forest was mentioned. But the midfielder decided to join Nice in the south of France rather than the freshly promoted team.
He is currently getting ready for the start of the new Ligue 1 campaign, with Nice now being led by former Borussia Dortmund manager Lucien Favre. Additionally, Favre is sending a well-known face to Ramsey in advance of RC Strasbourg’s first-day visit.
“Aaron will get the opportunity to meet with Arsène Wenger, who is slated to arrive here, next week. They are well acquainted. He is a footballer who can change positions well. He has a football sense.
He’s usually upbeat, which is also a huge plus. At Ramsey’s introduction, Favre remarked, “I hope his injuries are behind him.
Wenger joined FIFA as the Chief of Global Football Development after leaving management. Additionally, he participates in a number of legislative organizations that approve new football advancements.
The Frenchman, who works as a pundit, regularly attends football games as well. Wenger will meet with Favre’s team and his former star player Ramsey, albeit it is unclear why.
When he finally runs into the Welshman, he will discover a player who is thrilled to have made the switch to Ligue 1. As Nice looks to improve on their fifth-place result from the previous season, Ramsey maintained at his introduction that he was eager to get started with the team.
