After BGMI ban was slapped on the game and it was removed from Google Play Store and Apple App Store, players are having to deal with a number of problems while playing the game. While no one can download the game anymore, those who already have it on their devices are being able to play it.
A few days back, BGMI players got the shock of their lives when the game was banned and it disappeared from both Google Play Store and Apple App Store. However, those who had already downloaded Battlegrounds Mobile India app on their smartphones, could play it, but now they are increasingly reporting errors that are spoiling their experience. In the latest development, some iPhone well as Android users have reported issues while playing the game.
According to 91Mobiles, several BGMI players have started encountering problems and possible malfunctions related to server issues. “Reports have now started coming in of a possible malfunction that is affecting some users playing BGMI in India. An error message that reads, ‘Server did not respond. Please return to the login page and try again’ is flashing up for some users of the game,” 91Mobiles report mentioned.
The report also mentioned that a number of players have noticed in-app purchase restrictions! Moreover, BGMI players even in Classic Mode have started experiencing server issues, while others complained about lags and app crashes.
Is BGMI Banned in India?
The reason behind these errors could be simply due to a bug or because BGMI developer Krafton, has disconnected the servers in India after the removal from the plays stores, the report suggested. In case servers are being turned off, there will be no way for the battle royale players to play BGMI!
Battlegrounds Mobile India was removed from the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store on July 28, reportedly under Section 69A of the Indian IT law. It is the same law under which the Indian Government had banned a bunch of Chinese apps including PUBG: Mobile a couple of years ago. However, final confirmation from Krafton or the government is yet to make the reason clear.
