Alastair Clarkson has decided to coach North Melbourne after weeks of speculation around the former Hawthorn coach’s future.
Clarkson, who won four premierships at the Hawks, had been linked to both Essendon and North Melbourne.
He played 93 games for the Kangaroos between 1987 and 1995, and coached Hawthorn in 390 matches with 228 victories.
