Crab is a must-try when visiting Hokkaido! The region’s three iconic crabs—snow crab, king crab, and horsehair crab—can be enjoyed in a variety of delicious dishes. From specialty crab restaurants to seafood izakayas, here are four top spots in Sapporo to savor the freshest crab.

Just two blocks west of the Susukino intersection, this 12th-floor restaurant is a paradise for crab and shrimp lovers.
Their 90-minute all-you-can-eat courses are available for groups of two or more. The A Set (9,500 yen) features unlimited horsehair crab and snow crab legs, plus a selection of side dishes like shrimp tempura, shrimp sushi, crab sushi, shrimp tempura sushi, and chawanmushi. The B Set (9,500 yen) offers unlimited king crab legs (currently substituted with spiny king crab due to price increases) and snow crab legs, with the same side dishes included.
For those who just want crab, the Crab-Only Feast (10,000 yen) includes unlimited horsehair crab, snow crab legs, and king crab legs (spiny king crab), available with or without side dishes at the same price. Add an all-you-can-drink option for 1,430 yen.

A warm, traditional Japanese-style entrance welcomes guests.

Choose your favorite combination of horsehair crab, snow crab, and king crab.

All-you-can-eat courses come with shrimp sushi, crab sushi, and shrimp tempura sushi as side dishes.
Each horsehair crab is served whole, so feel free to ask the staff for guidance on how to enjoy it. Even if you don’t speak the language, illustrated instructions make it easy to follow. Use the diagram as a guide to make sure you savor every last bite!
