Two minor events yesterday, relatively trivial in the scheme of things, are pointers to how the fragmentation of the right is combining with Labor’s political tactics to produce an unholy mess.
This article won’t be pleasant reading for Labor fans, though more thoughtful ones might reflect on what’s going wrong for a politically dominant government that should be setting itself up to guide Australia into the mid-21st century but which is increasingly mired in third-rate politicking.
