The Avo Tree is turning 10 and has teamed up with Christchurch agency Not Another for a new campaign.
It promises premium, orchard fresh avos delivered to your door every time. The campaign also captures that moment of pure joy when opening the perfect avocado.
Cheers to perfect avos
Not Another has produced a suite of creative assets, including three TV ads airing on TVNZ this week. The rollout coincides with The Avo Tree’s 10th anniversary.
“This campaign is about celebrating the perfect avos in our lives,” says Adrien Taylor, strategic director at Not Another.
“Few things spark as much joy as a perfect avocado. We wanted to capture that feeling and position The Avo Tree as the ultimate avo experience – fresh, beautiful and reliably perfect.”

The dream project
“Ten years in, we’re proud to be delivering quality avos to homes across the country,” says Thorley Robbins, founder of The Avo Tree.
“This campaign reflects everything we’ve built over the years – care for our growers, love for the product and a commitment to delivering that unbeatable moment when you slice open an avocado and it’s perfect.”
Not Another’s creative director Mark Townshend says this was a dream project for the team.
“As a country of foodies, avos are an obsession for so many of us. This campaign plays on that. It’s bold, cheeky and fun – exactly like opening that perfect avo.”
The creative team includes Chester Travis, Georgina Jervis, Jono Smit, Julian Vares, Damasia de Villalobos, Lydia Perez, Pearl Babington, Mark Townshend, Adrien Taylor, Harish Selvaraj, Chelsey Gordon, Madeleine McLeod, Thorley Robbins, alongside the acting talents of Stella Maris, Lynn Clark and Ben Thorpe.
