Body found in waterway in West Auckland’s Henderson

A person has been found dead in a waterway in West Auckland’s Henderson.

Police said an investigation was underway after the person was found dead around 10am on Saturday.

The body of the person was found in a waterway near Edmonton Road in Henderson.

At this time the death is being treated as unexplained, police said.

“Enquiries are underway to determine the circumstances of the incident.”
