AT LEAST one person has been killed and three others are “critically injured” after a motorist rammed his car into the terrace of a French restaurant.
The driver is said to fled the scene after ploughing his vehicle into Le Ramus restaurant in Paris – injuring three other people.
Emergency responders rushed to the scene after the horror crash and a large fire brigade was deployed.
The crashed car is now being investigated and a bomb squad has been called to do routine checks as part of “safety measures”.
Cops investigating the scene said one of the passengers of the car tested positive for alcohol and drugs.
Investigators are yet to confirm if it was an accident or a “voluntary act” by the driver.
A source close to the case said: “The accidental track seems to be emerging,” calling for more caution.
