Yet, as we look back, there are a few stars we couldn’t help but wish had graced the red carpet with their presence. These celebrities, known for their talent, style, and charisma, would have added an extra dose of star power to the festival.

We were hoping to see this movie icon attend, as his work has influenced generations. His absence was certainly felt, as he would have brought a touch of classic Egyptian cinema to the festival.

Saba is celebrated for her powerful roles and sophisticated style, and her presence would have boosted the event’s international appeal. Known for representing Arab women with grace, Saba would have added elegance and poise to the festival.
Mona Zaki:
There’s no surprise there that she is widely admired for her talent and the emotional depth she brings to her roles. Her appearance would have been a highlight, as she’s a fashion favorite and often captivates with her red-carpet elegance. Seeing Mona at Gouna would have added a special touch of glamour and cinematic heritage to the festival.
