Following Friday’s 118-112 road loss vs. the Golden State Warriors, Portland Trail Blazers head coach Chauncey Billups said that his group needs to play smarter late in games (blew an 8-point lead with five minutes remaining).
(via Portland Trail Blazers):
“We fought. That’s never our issue. We fought extremely hard. We gotta start just playing smarter when the game is on the line. I’ve been in this position before, we were just so tired, you’re thinking something and you just can’t do it. They took full advantage of it, you gotta give them credit.”
