Chelsea’s 8%-win probability vs Man City might be too generous – Talk Chelsea

Chelsea face current league leaders Manchester City this Sunday in the 4pm kick off.

City will be on a high after smashing Real Madrid 4-0 in the Champions League this week to reach the final vs Inter Milan.

We don’t need to say much about our opponents, they are in fantastic form and are steaming ahead to win the Premier League now, and it’s very possible that they will win it on Sunday and have their trophy unveiling.

Chelsea’s win probability is just 8%!! That’s even probably too generous!

We have a tough run in now and being in 11th place already, I think we will only end up lower come the end of the season. We know it’s a write off but I’m just once again hoping for some pride, some fight, and for us not to roll over.

I think once again Frank Lampard will be setting up with what we have grown used to seeing and I fully expect him to be playing players again who are 100% leaving this summer. I’d love to see us just go for it and start players like Mykhailo Mudryk, but I highly doubt it.

Carney Chukwuemeka better at least be on the bench and get minutes for the rest of this season now we have stopped him going to the U20s World Cup. If he doesn’t, that will be plain farcical and just add to his wounds we have inflicted on him this season already.
