Coalition now prepared to ‘look seriously’ at nuclear energy: Kenny

The Coalition is now prepared to “look seriously” at nuclear energy, Sky News host Chris Kenny says.

Mr Kenny said the Coalition while in government was “way too timid on this stuff,” signed up to net zero, ruled out nuclear and just went with the renewable energy zeitgeist.

Opposition Leader Peter Dutton recently stated a discussion should be had around nuclear energy, arguing the technology could be used to firm up energy supplies.
