A 23-year-old man has been sentenced for stalking a woman and forcing her to send explicit images and videos.
Ibrahim Stout 23, of Belgrave Walk, Croydon, was sentenced to two years in prison – suspended for 20 months – on Friday, after being convicted of a ‘revenge porn’ offence and stalking a woman.
During a four-month period in 2023, Stout forced a woman to send him sexually explicit images and videos.
Analysis of the messages showed he was abusive and controlling and threatened to show the images to her family, police said.
Cops found that he had shared some of the videos with men in separate chat threads on X.
Stout pleaded guilty to one count of disclosing or threatening to disclose private sexual photographs and films with intent to cause distress and one charge of stalking the same woman.
He also pleaded guilty to unrelated charges of possession of an extreme pornographic image, and admitted a racially aggravated assault relating to an incident at Speaker’s Corner in Hyde Park on December 31, 2023, when he punched a man in the face.
Stout must also complete 250 hours of unpaid work and 25 rehabilitation activity requirement days. This also includes a three-month curfew with electronic tagging.
He has been issued with a restraining order not to contact the victim either directly or indirectly for five years and not go within 100 metres of her home address.
