Sir David Beckham hailed his wife, Victoria Beckham, as an “inspiration” to all four of their children amid the family’s feud with their eldest child, Brooklyn.

The 50-year-old retired footballer and his fashion designer spouse, 51, are parents to Brooklyn, 27, Romeo, 23, Cruz, 21, and 14-year-old Harper, and despite the family rift, the power couple included Brooklyn in their heartfelt messages.
David gushed alongside a picture of the former Spice Girl pregnant with a blossoming bump: “Happy Mother’s Day to the most amazing mummy….. You are an inspiration in all the ways a mum should be to our 4 amazing children.. We love you so much and I’m so thankful for the family we have created. Have a special Mother’s Day because if there’s one person that deserves it it’s you. I love you @victoriabeckham (sic)”
Victoria commented: “I love you all so much.”
Harper also paid tribute to Victoria.
She wrote on her Instagram Story: “Happy Mother’s Day to the best mum ever.
“Thank you for always being there for me, supporting me, and putting up with me even on my worst days. I don’t say it enough, but I’m really grateful for everything you do for me every single day.”
She continued: “I love you so much and hope you have the best day because you deserve it x.”
The teen’s account is private, but Victoria shared the post to her own Story and added: “I love you Harper.”
Meanwhile, Brooklyn was said to be infuriated after David and Victoria shared birthday messages to him on their own Instagram pages.
A source told Entertainment Tonight: “Brooklyn and [his wife Nicola Peltz] are disheartened they chose to make public Instagram posts for his birthday.
“These are the exact type of performative public actions that Brooklyn has been trying to put an end to, to no avail.”
In his birthday post, David shared two childhood photographs of Brooklyn, who turned 27 on March 4, online, and used the nickname he has long used for his son.
The ex-footballer captioned the snaps: “27 today. Happy Birthday Bust. We love you x”.
Minutes later, Victoria posted the same image as her husband had, alongside a second photograph of herself laughing with her son.
She wrote: “Happy birthday Brooklyn, we love you so much.”
His younger brother, Romeo, also shared a childhood photograph of the pair without a caption, while his other brother, Cruz, posted a throwback snap, adding: “I love you.”
The public declarations came after Brooklyn revealed he was cutting ties with his family.
In a six-page post, Brooklyn accused his parents of interfering in his marriage to Nicola Peltz and prioritising public image over private relationships.
The dispute has played out largely in public view, with Brooklyn absent from several recent family events, including celebrations for David’s 50th birthday and the footballer’s investiture at Windsor Castle in November. He also did not appear in Victoria’s recent Netflix docuseries.
In his furious January statement on Instagram, Brooklyn wrote: “For my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family.”
He continued: “The performative social media posts, family events and inauthentic relationships have been a fixture of the life I was born into.”
Brooklyn added: “Recently, I have seen with my own eyes the lengths that they’ll go through to place countless lies in the media, mostly at the expense of innocent people, to preserve their own facade. But I believe the truth always comes out.”
