Chepkemoi became a public figure after photos of her looking emaciated went viral.
According to reports, she had endured harsh treatment in Saudi Arabia.
Her family appealed for assistance from the government to bring her back home and Kenyans on social media firmly stood with them.

Chepkemoi returned to Kenya on September 6, and she narrated the horrific treatment she received from her former boss.
Chepkemoi secured a job and a chance to continue with her studies shortly after she touched down from Saudi Arabia.
Chepkemoi becomes TikTok star
Chepkemoi might be doing well in her job and studies but that has not stopped her from progressing on TikTok.
TUKO.co.ke did a spot check and established that the 24-year-old regularly posts inspirational videos of how God saved her from the jaws of death in Saudi Arabia.
She now commands almost 30,000 followers on the platform barely a month after she created the account.
Diana narrates Saudi Arabia ordeal
Earlier, Chepkemoi narrated her ordeal in Saudi Arabia while passionately pleading with the government to help her friends in similar situations.
The young lady said that trouble with her employer started as soon as she arrived in the Gulf nation, but efforts to get redress from her agent were futile.

“I left Kenya for Saudi Arabia hoping for a better future but no sooner had I arrived than I had an issue with my employer. I reported it to the agent, but the matter was swept under the rug,” she said.
