At 3:35 PM CDT, National Weather Service Doppler radar was tracking scattered thunderstorms the Evansville Tri-State area into southern Illinois and far western and northwestern Kentucky. These storms are producing torrential downpours, gusty winds up to 40 mph, and frequent lightning strikes. If outdoors, seek shelter in a sturdy structure if you hear thunder or see a flash of lightning. Localized street flooding is also possible from these thunderstorms.
