EGYM Genius – an AI driven onboarding and retention console, will be on show at the HCM Summit / EGYM
The HCM Summit, which will be held in London on 24 October, has announced EGYM as its Platinum Partner for the next three years.
The company will also be the exclusive partner for the HCM Summit Live Stream and its on-demand broadcasts which will see the all-keynote event beamed around the world and available permanently on the HCM magazine website.
EGYM is a fast-growing, tech-based fitness equipment supplier with an open platform that also integrates with the vast majority of other fitness equipment brands.
The company has a global presence, with over 17,000 installations across health clubs, corporate wellness centres and public leisure facilities.
In March, EGYM also acquired Hussle, a leading player in the UK corporate fitness market. By joining forces with Hussle, the company has further expanded its position in the growing European market with its corporate fitness network, EGYM Wellpass.
CEO, Philipp Roesch-Schlanderer, said: “EGYM is committed to driving change and innovation to support the success of operators across the industry.
“It was immediately clear to us that we share this goal with HCM magazine and the HCM Summit. We’re proud to partner with and support the event as we continue with our commitment to delivering powerful, transformational innovation for the sector that delivers success for businesses and operations and enhances the lives of members.”
Roesch-Schlanderer has hired the former MD of Technogym UK – Steve Barton – and the former CEOs of Life Fitness – Chris Clawson – and Precor – Rob Barker – to drive growth and customer engagement as EGYM works to build its market share globally.
At the core of EGYM’s solution lies a range of digitally-controlled strength training equipment and unlike traditional weight machines, these offer both isotonic and isokinetic resistance, providing versatility, effectiveness and precision in every workout.
Key clients include operators such as David Lloyd, Fitness First and Holmes Place.
Roesch-Schlanderer said: “The current widespread and growing adoption of EGYM underscores the effectiveness and desirability of our total connected solution.”
The company is currently gearing up to launch its new EGYM Genius product in Q3 2024.
EGYM Genius is a console designed for use during inductions and reviews to drive retention by increasing engagement.
The console captures comprehensive data, including limb length measurements and details of flexibility and body composition to enable the creation of workouts that are custom-designed.
It does this by integrating adaptive AI into its smart solutions to create personalised training plans for every member. EGYM Genius can also connect equipment in the gym, enabling effective workouts for members, increasing motivation and progress by making a once analog experience into a new digital one and collecting data from each member’s journey.
EGYM Genius will be on show at the HCM Summit and delegates will be offered the opportunity to have a personal try-out during Summit networking breaks by appointment.
