The Sixer Sense Podcast brings you more content about the Sixers as training camp approaches. We have some unique topics to discuss, starting with an ESPN ranking article that has several Sixers players that we dive into during the podcast.
We begin with James Harden’s ranking on the ESPN list of player rankings. Even though Joel Embiid had yet to be listed, we explore the reasons why Harden was ranked just outside the top 10 of their elite player list. We bring up the controversial aspect of Harden being ranked higher than players like Paul George, Kawhi Leonard, and Karl Anthony Towns. In addition, we debate the ranking of Tyrese Maxey and Tobias Harris on that same ESPN list.
We then pivot to a topic that revolves around monumental Sixers trades since 2000. Based on each trade’s impact, we offer opinions on the deals that sent Allen Iverson to Denver and Ben Simmons to Brooklyn. We also dive into the deals that brought Dikembe Mutombo, Andrew Bynum, and Jimmy Butler to Philly.
Next, the podcast brings up a list of Sixers super fans who are known for sitting court side at home games. We offer opinions on fans like Alan Horwitz, M. Night Shyamalan, Kevin Hart, Meek Mill, and Allen Iverson. Who do we feel is the most beloved court side fan? Who is annoying? Also, who is not on the list that we’d love to see more of on the jumbotron at home games?
