In this short film from Blood Origins, a group of African hunters comes together to bring electricity, running water, and playgrounds to a school in their community.
Hunting’s connection to community is often passed over for the bad news surrounding the hunt. This is especially true in areas like the East Cape of South Africa, the home of John X Safaris.
The professional hunters at John X saw an opportunity in a local rural school to give back to the community that makes up a part of their landscape. The project encompassed building classrooms, adding electricity and running water, and building a sports field where kids could play, run, and laugh.
For this community, it made a difference. Watch the above video from the Blood Origins team to learn more.
